HanesBrands has named Lorenzo Moretti as the new president of international athletic and lifestyle apparel brand, Champion Europe.
He will join the parent company, HanesBrands, in July and will be based in Carpi, Italy.
Moretti brings extensive experience in activewear, consumer goods, marketing, e-commerce and retail. He was previously the EMEA president at Dr. Martens, where he delivered significant revenue and earnings growth, while also expanding in new and existing markets. Moretti was responsible for the overhaul of the company's product and marketing strategy by focusing on the consumer.

Prior to joining Dr. Martens, he served at the U.K based fashion retailer, Office Holdings Ltd, as well as holding senior leadership positions at Nike, Gap and Tesco.
In his new role, Moretti will grow the Champion brand across Europe, particularly focusing on elevating the business by creating innovative products and building brand desire.
He will also lead Champion Europe's direct-to-consumer business and strengthen the company's position in wholesale channels.
