Primark opens the world’s largest fashion store

Irish fashion retailer, Primark, has opened the world’s largest fashion store, taking their place in history. The store has been launched in Birmingham, England and has over five storeys across a 160,100 sqft holding.

The store was built upon what used to be the town’s Pavilion shipping centre in the heart of the city’s downtown. The residence includes a selection of stores owned and operated by the Primark group including a custom store for personalised gifts, a Disney themed café and salon in addition to the group’s first owned-brand Primark café. The unique food and beverage offering, as well as the unique beauty services available in the establishment,  are expected to be the primary pull for foot traffic.

The expansion cost the group over 70 million pounds.
