World renown footwear brand, Sketchers, has announced a change to their leadership team.
Katherine J. Blair has been made the sixth independent member of the brand’s Board of Directors, bringing their total number of directors up to ten. Blair will be bringing to the job significant experience in both corporate law and governance and is welcomed for her unique business perspective.
“Complementing our current directors, her background expands the diverse viewpoints of our board, which will continue executing our strategic plans and driving Skechers’ success moving forward,” said the label’s chief executive officer, Robert Greenberg.
Blair is currently the chair of the executive committee of the Business Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar association as well as an officer of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the California Lawyers Association.
Her key focus points, which Sketchers shares she will be bringing to her new role, include ethics or business and funding opportunities.
