Giorgio Armani received the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2019 British Fashion Awards for his creative contribution to the fashion industry. Armani was accompanied on stage by close friends, Julia Roberts and Cate Blanchett as he accepted his prestigious award.
Roberts dressed in a Giorgio Armani Privé black velvet jumpsuit from the AW19 collection and Blanchett wore a Giorgio Armani Privé pale green tulle gown from the AW19 collection.
There was an Armani Privé haute couture runway show and performance by Eric Clapton to celebrate. The designer presented his latest collection on the runway to guests from across the world. The evening concluded with a night at Harry’s Bar in Mayfair, where Armani, his niece Roberta and friends celebrated.
Roberta Armani wore a long Giorgio Armani Privé dress with a black silk skirt and bustier embroidered with black sequins and fuchsia crystals.
