Nelson’s River Kitchen will play host to a pop-up second hand store filled with copious amounts of second hand designer goods.
The pop-up store will be managed by Nelson boutique Karen Jordan Style with more than 13,000 people having already engaged with the event via Facebook.
“We’ve literally had people dropping suitcases off of clothes and we’re not talking old, tacky stuff we’re talking high quality designer gear. Some of it hasn’t ever been worn,” said Paul Proctor, business development manager, Karen Jordan Style.
People who have brought in clothes will receive a majority of the price, with Karen Jordan Style taking a percentage cut from each sale. Running from 4pm until 8pm, attendees will also be able to enjoy coffee and wine from the River Kitchen while they browse the selection.
