ASOS SELLER BASHED FOR SELLING ‘VINTAGE’ DHL UNIFORM

A second-hand clothes dealer has caused controversy by selling "vintage" DHL uniforms for NZ$35.

Romanian seller From Zeden listed the items on ASOS marketplace, a subsidiary marketplace of the retail giant that enables third parties to buy and sell items. The seller has a "vintage" yellow and red DHS T-shirt purportedly from the 1990s on offer for $35, and an "original" for $39.

The seller was brought to light on Reddit, where user KBatch115599 commented: "$35 to look like a DHL delivery driver? ASOS Marketplace baffles me sometimes."

The controversy is reminiscent of the 2018 collaboration between designer brand Vetements and DHL, in which yellow DHL T-shirts were sold for $970. Reddit user Chavaon suggested a solution: "Life Pro Tip: Save yourself $970 on DHL T-shirts by getting a job at DHL and being paid to wear them."
