Designers Capture Attention at Milan Fashion Week

The latest Global Fashion Collective show was presented at Milan Fashion Week, displaying avant-garde designs to classic fashion staples. The show, held on the 24th of February 2024, was used as a testament to the power of creative expression and the beauty of diversity.

The fashion show was made up of three segments from three different designers. Ghaziani presented ‘Taste of Nostalgia’, a collection embodying timeless elegance and a unique narrative. Ghaziani reimagines typical silhouettes and interweaves them with modern sophistication.

“From meticulously tailored suits adorned with signature cut detail to intricate hand-stitching and baseball stitching, every garment speaks volumes of the artisanal craftsmanship inherent to Italian clothing design and heritage.”

CoCo Creation took a different approach to their designs, seeking inspiration from human layers and peeling back self-perceptions. The ecological collection addressed overconsumption, the abuse of the earth’s resources and pollution. To combat this, designer Joanie Ecuyer explored the wasteland of deadstock by creating pieces that celebrated individuality, diversity and multiculturalism.

The Trippleroot collection centred around creating simple silhouettes designed elegantly to accentuate the wearer’s femininity and create comfort.

“Blurring the lines between the classic and casual, Trippleroot’s offering celebrates self-confidence and self-respect by presenting a modern take on old money aesthetics.”

All three designers featured diverse styles that captivated the community of industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts who attended the show.
