DISHEVELLED GLAMOUR WITH WYNN HAMLYN

Wynn Hamlyn’s New Zealand Fashion Week collection ‘Hallucinogene’ was inspired by US Government experiments with LSD in the 60’s. L’Oréal Professionnel’s hair worked in with this theme, creating the look of a girl who worked in an office but experimented in the weekend. A soft glamour wave, with a bit of a dishevelled feel to it, half of the models’ hair was pulled into a Bridget Bardot ponytail and the other left out with a natural feel to it.

To create the look Tecni.Art Volume Lift Mousse was used to create volume and a soft natural centre parting. The glamour wave was achieved by focusing the curl on the ends of the hair, giving it a modern feel. Tecni.Art Crepage de Chignon Mineral Powder Fixing Spray was used after shaking out the wave to encourage texture and movement. The hair was then placed in a low ponytail with fly-aways left around the face to create a controlled dishevelled texture.
