‘Ovaries. Talk About Them’ by CAMILLA AND MARC

CAMILLA AND MARC are launching their new global campaign 'Ovaries. Talk About Them—2022' today. The campaign is dedicated to changing the face of the deadliest female cancer - ovarian cancer. In New Zealand, our rates of ovarian cancer are among the highest in the world. It is the eighth most common cancer in women, with almost 300 new cases each year.

This year, CAMILLA AND MARC are announcing a cumulative $1 million fundraising objective as part of their campaign and every single dollar raised through the campaign will go directly to research science.

The campaign has proven to be incredibly productive over the years, and to date, 'Ovaries. Talk About Them.' has raised a phenomenal AU$544K, which has enabled the UNSW OvarianCancer Research Centre to employ two fundamental scientists as well as a full-time nurse.

Camilla Freeman Topper, the creative director of CAMILLA AND MARC expressed, “Ovarian Cancer is the deadliest female cancer – yet still, there is no test. Women deserve a test."

"My mother passed away 28 years ago, and statistics have barely changed, largely due to funding and awareness. Through this bold campaign, we are driving a new conversation for ovarian cancer so that women can feel confident to talk about their bodies and rightly claim what they deserve as a basic healthcare right.”

The key message: “women deserve better."

The 2022 'Ovaries. Talk About Them.' capsule collection features shades of deep navy and cream and includes two unisex sweaters, two unisex t-shirts, a children’s t-shirt, a cap, and a canvas tote. The entire capsule collection is available online and in-stores from May 2, 2022, for a limited time while stocks last.

100% of all sales will be donated directly to the cause. #OvariesTalkAboutThem #CAMILLAANDMARC.
