Yamanto Central is Queensland, Australia’s newest sub-regional shopping centre and it turns one this month. The centre is focused on opening new and innovative stores and retail concepts that offer customers an amazing retail experience.
Different from the typical shopping centre, Yamanto Central focuses on both local retailers and big brand stores. Working with well-known retailers such as Kmart, Priceline and Coles, alongside specialist traders including fashion stores, health, beauty and wellness stores and services, and casual dining options.
The 20,000 square metre shopping centre currently has open the main retail floor, and a variety of health and fitness offerings, but in the next 12 months, it hopes to open a medical sector and full dining precinct.
Another difference at Yamanto Central is the progressive opening and rollout of stores, to ensure careful focus is placed on all the different elements being made available to the community. While also ensuring businesses are given all the attention and support they need to flourish in the centre.
The centre is full of activities “From showcases of community art, pop up stores, to car and shopping giveaways, we have been busy building our connections with the community and support of local charities, and the retail sector more broadly.” Said Vicki Leavy, the JMK Retail General Manager. Mother's day is no different, with lots of giveaways and promotions across the entire centre.
With its doors opened for only one year, Yamanto Central is proof that consumers love to support and engage in their local community.
“As we reflect on the success we have had at Yamanto Central in the past year, we would really like to thank our customers and amazing community. We look forward to bringing our shoppers even more new shops and services as we continue to build one of the best sub-regional shopping centres in Queensland.”
