Standard Issue Clothing has announced their limited edition collaboration with global pop star BENEE, supporting a local animal sanctuary near and dear to her heart.
The vest was designed by Stella Bennett, better known by her stage name BENEE, in Standard Issue's Auckland workroom. The front of the vest features a unique retriever illustration from artist Logan Buchanan and it is available in the colours Earth Alabaster or Lake Alabaster. Made from one hundred percent fine merino wool, it is environmentally conscious and crafted with Standard Issue's zero-waste output requirements.
The Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary is a family-run safe haven for pregnant mothers and young puppies, that require constant support. The organisation is particularly special to Bennett, being where she rescued her own dog Tui from. In the past two years, the retreat has rescued and re-homed over 300 puppies. One hundred percent of the profits from the Standard Issue x BENEE collaboration will go to the charity.
The collaboration aims to support the well-being of animals and the local community by understanding the important role they can play in loving homes.
