Pure London's Independent Retailers Sustainability Toolkit has been downloaded by over 250 independent retailers.

Launching at a Pure London's Sustainability Hub event which occurred from February 12 and 14, the Toolkit is an invaluable resource that provides step-by-step, practical information for businesses on a number of topics from reducing carbon footprint to sustainable packaging.

Author of the toolkit, Olivia Pinnock, who is also Pure London's Sustainability Ambassador, held a thought-provoking panel during the event, discussing the challenges and opportunities facing retailers, as well as introducing the toolkit to the audience.

"As retailers, we must appreciate that small businesses often don't have the time and resources to invest in their sustainability initiatives, but at Pure London, we really believe that they have a role to play in creating a more sustainable fashion industry here in the UK. Our Sustainability Toolkit can really help you understand how you can make small changes to your business for big impact," shared Pinnock.

Aside from providing retailers with vital information to increase the sustainability of their business, the Toolkit also includes easy-to-understand statistics, research, balanced views, activity worksheets and links to further resources.

"As a global platform for fashion, we have a responsibility to educate, inform and advise retailers on the most challenging issues facing the industry.  Across the three day event our Sustainability Ambassador, Olivia met with hundreds of independent retailers to give them tailored advice and support in their sustainability journeys," noted Gloria Sandrucci, Event Director of Pure London.

"During and following the event we have continued to see many small business owners downloading the Toolkit and feedback on this unique resource has been overwhelming positive.”
