As the summer season begins, Liam has launched Liam Lingerie: an edit of wireless bras and knickers that you are proud to see the back of.
This has completed the Liam triangle, Ready Made, Lingerie, and Patterns and continued its quest to honour all bodies.
Liam Designer Emily Miller-Sharma said she realised she had been adding bras to the dresses and tops she designed because she couldn’t find a bra she was happy to wear with them, especially when they had a low back.
“I became obsessed with making bras that I would be proud to see the back of, and Liam Lingerie was born,” said Miller-Sharma.
After she developed the initial samples on herself, a six-month fit-and-wear testing process began. Working with 50 women across the collection's size 4-24 range, the Liam team perfected fits and construction.
The collection’s namesakes, Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary, nod to the dichotomy of what is expected of women, and the collection’s pieces offer wearers a choice about how they want to be.
Wireless bras are offered in low, medium, and full support, with gold-coloured anti-tarnish stainless steel hardware and a single cobalt-coloured O-ring. Back straps can adjust the underbust band by up to two sizes.
Knickers range from a recycled nylon mesh G-string, through to a full recycled cotton spandex brief. Miller-Sharma’s personal favourite is a V-front knicker with a wide waistband featuring a scalloped lace edge.
As with Liam Ready Made, Liam Lingerie is available in sizes 4-24.
Liam Lingerie launches in all RUBY stores and online from the 30th of October 2025.
